Mechanism of Action
Depolarizing NMBA (ACh receptor agonist). Ultra-fast onset (30-60s) and short duration. Metabolized by pseudocholinesterase. Can cause life-threatening hyperkalemia in specific myopathies/burns.

Black Box Warnings
- Relatively contraindicated for routine use in children and adolescents due to the risk of hyperkalemia, rhabdomyolysis, and cardiac arrest in undiagnosed myopathies.
