NMDA receptor antagonist causing dissociative anesthesia. Increases BP, heart rate, and cardiac output via sympathetic stimulation. Potent bronchodilator.

Black Box Warnings
- Direct myocardial depressant effects may be unmasked in patients with exhausted catecholamine stores, leading to cardiovascular collapse.
Clinical Pearls

Produces dissociative anesthesia and intense analgesia. Sympathomimetic; increases HR, BP, and cardiac output. Potent bronchodilator. Can cause emergence delirium.
